I finally splurged for a classic Nordic Ware Platinum Collection Cast Aluminum Bundt Pan. Its maiden voyage was a delicious brown sugar bundt cake loaded with pears, prunes, and ground hazelnut. What a treat! And how awesome the cake browned so evenly? I love my new toy. You have no idea how long I’ve been waiting to get a classic bundt pan. I bought a heavy duty star bundt pan years ago on sale and have been happy with it. However, the classic shape does have its allure.
