   Simple Walnut Loaf on Flickr.

   Remember this simple walnut loaf? It was the loaf that got me into bread baking the Dan Lepard way. I’m making this again today to serve with cioppino (San Francisco seafood stew). This time, made with locally-milled red fife flour and leftover Shiraz.
